For Cinco de Mayo this year, we offered a 40% discount on all category limits. This ad ran through email, sms and push notification, and had an overall open rate of 17% and a conversion rate of 8.3%.
May was National Military Appreciation month. To show our appreciation for those who have served or are actively in our armed forces, Chalice doubled the Military discount for the entire month of May. Within that month, we had 2,275 Veteran Transactions, with a total revenue of $90,049. With our doubled discount, we saved veterans a total of $36,251 last month!
This Memorial Day, Chalice offered multiple deals throughout the long weekend. The online campaign had an overall open rate of 17% and a conversion rate of 3.3%.
Update: Best Buds App
Last month, we launched our Best Buds app, accompanying our loyalty program. Since its launch, the app has been downloaded a total of 465 times (170 via Google Play and 295 on iOS). We are excited to nurture our customers by offering exclusive discounts and deals to app users.
We ran a retargeting promotion to get customers back into the funnel, offering 40% off their order, which was a huge success. This ad was sent as an email, a text message, and a push notification on our Best Buds app. It had an overall open rate of 37% and a 15% conversion rate.
